Denman Glacier animation

Denman Glacier in East Antarctica meets the ocean close to the Shackleton Ice Shelf. This outlet glacier flows through the deepest canyon on land (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denman_Glacier), giving rise to surface velocities of up to 6 m/day. By using microwaves, the Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is able to capture images of this glacier all year round, despite the darkness brought on by polar winter.
